THE BIBLE- The Bible is the literal Word of God.  It was inspired (God-breathed) by God, and He has preserved it through the ages.  It is our final authority regarding faith and holy living.  The Bible has been preserved in the English language in the King James Bible.(2 Timothy 3:16-17; Psalm 12:6-7)

GOD- There is one God, one Lord of all creation.  He formed the worlds by the power of His voice; He made man from the dust of the Earth.  God is perfect and eternal; all-knowing, all-seeing.  God is a trinity, meaning three-in-one.  The Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit: together they make up the Godhead.  (1 John 5:7-8)

SALVATION- Jesus died on the cross nearly 2,000 years ago.  He died to pay for the sins of all mankind.  Three days later, He arose bodily from the grave, conquering death once and for all.  Now, we can be saved from eternity in hell through Jesus’ sacrificial death.  Salvation comes by asking Him to forgive us and save us from eternity in hell. (Romans 5:8-9; Romans 10-:9-13)

HOLY LIVING- It is the responsibility of every believer to live a holy and godly life, according to Scripture.  This means separating from the sins of the world and drawing closer to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  We are to become more and more like Him and less like the world.  It is our responsibility and our privilege to be more like Jesus, in order to better represent His name to the lost.

BAPTISM- The first step of obedience for any believer is water baptism.  This should occur as soon as possible after salvation.  Baptism is an ordinance of the local church and should be administered only by the church.  It is performed in deep water, immersing the believer, as a symbol of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection for our sins.  Baptism is our way of showing the world that we have accepted Christ into our lives.

SECOND COMING- Jesus will one day return physically to this Earth.  The first phase of His return is the Rapture, when He removes every saint from Earth to Heaven to be united forever with the Father.  Following a 7 year period of Judgment on the Earth, Christ will return with saints to conquer sin, defeat Satan, and rule as King of Kings for 1,000 years.  This is the second and final phase of His return.  This will usher in eternity with God for all who have believed on Him as their Savior. (1 Corinthians 15:51-58)
